Terms of Service

Last Updated: March 08, 2025

Welcome to The Coding Nerds! By accessing or using our website (http://thecodingnerds.com) and services, you’re agreeing to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). So, let’s geek out on the rules that keep our digital universe running smoothly.

1. Who We Are and What We Do

The Coding Nerds (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provide digital marketing services—think SEO, web design, email campaigns, and more—to help your business grow. These Terms apply to all users, clients, and visitors. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our site or services.

2. Using Our Services

You’re welcome to browse our site, but to access certain features (e.g., client portals via FreshBooks), you may need an account. You’re responsible for keeping your login details secure—don’t share your password like it’s open-source code! Also, you must be 18 or older to use our paid services.

3. Service Scope and Payments

We’ll deliver what we promise in our project agreements (e.g., keyword targeting, site optimization). However, results like Google rankings aren’t guaranteed—SEO’s an art, not a cheat code. Payments are due as outlined in your invoice (via FreshBooks), and late fees may apply if you’re overdue by 30 days.

4. Intellectual Property

Our site’s content—blogs, designs, nerdy graphics—is ours unless stated otherwise. You can’t copy or reuse it without permission. Likewise, anything you send us (e.g., logos, text) stays yours, but you grant us a license to use it for your project.

5. User Conduct

Play nice. Don’t hack, spam, or upload viruses to our site—it’s not a sandbox for malware. Also, don’t use our services for anything illegal or shady. We reserve the right to cut off access if you break the rules.

6. Third-Party Tools

We use tools like FreshBooks, Google Analytics, and others to power your experience. Their terms apply too—check them out (e.g., FreshBooks Terms). We’re not liable for their glitches.

7. Limitation of Liability

We geek out to deliver top-notch service, but we’re not perfect. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we’re not liable for indirect damages (e.g., lost profits) or issues beyond our control (e.g., server crashes). Our liability caps at what you paid us in the last 6 months.

8. Termination

We can pause or end your access if you violate these Terms—think of it as a timeout. You can cancel services too, but no refunds for work already coded and delivered.

9. Changes to Terms

We might tweak these Terms as laws or services evolve. We’ll post updates here with the new “Last Updated” date. Keep checking back—your continued use means you’re cool with the changes.

10. Contact Us
